How Many Bird Kills Have You Paid For? October 28, 2013 11:59 AM | Tagged as King Barak Bird Kills
WSJ October 11, 2013 Page A13 “Fighting Climate Change by Killing Eagles” by Robert Bryce
Did you know many environmentalists prefer wind turbines to birds? Wind turbines kill some 573,000 birds PER YEAR including 83,000 birds of prey. Among them are several eagles including a few bald eagles. The Obama Administration looks the other way because they consider this collateral damage in their quest for socialist goals concerning global warming.
If an oil company or an electric utility is found to have contributed to the killing of ONE bird, they are often prosecuted by the Holder DOJ under the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act or the Migratory Bird Treaty act. To date, no wind turbine operator has been similarly charged, even though they kill thousands each year. Mr. Holder would call this “prosecutorial discretion”. The Biz Bucks Guy calls it another example of our post-constitutional era. This is the stuff of royalty who make up laws as they deem prudent without the oversight of the two other branches of government.
Furthermore, you have helped pay for this bird slaughter. Last year, your subsidy you unknowingly gave to the wind power industry was about $12 billion.
Hail to the King, King Barak, the First…and Eric, The Great, Prince of DOJ.
